Hello Intrepid Artemis Voyageurs!
My name is Darby Christopher, and I’m massively excited to be here. See — my latest book is out, and I’m on a mondo-blog tour to celebrate, but this is the FIRST time I get to visit someone who is an expert in time travel.
If you’re here, I’m guessing you might have read about some of the adventures of Jamie and Claire. Most particularly Claire’s interesting proclivity for stepping through time.
Well, I’m here to tell you that I have had a few experiences of my own along those lines. Since the adventures in my very first book, A WALK THROUGH A WINDOW, I learned I’ve got a bit of a talent. Not really like Claire’s ability with standing stones, though. I’m more inclined to surf up close to the time-space continuum on a skateboard, and I’ve come to learn that walking through windows is something to be approached with extreme caution…
Anyway, today, I’m here to celebrate the launch of my new book. It’s called FACING FIRE.
FACING FIRE picks up the story of what happened to me after the magical summer that you may have read about in A WALK THROUGH A WINDOW. And if you haven’t read it, you can find out more about both the books – at www.kcdyer.com

It was wonderful getting to hear you speak at lunch Kc Dryer! Your personal story was inspirational to myself, as I am you this year at the writing conference! I can't wait to share your books with my daughters and homeschooling friends. This will definately go on their must read lists!
I just spent part of my morning trying to explain time-travel to my 3 children, ages 9, 8, and 6. They always comment how I love the "Outlander books." My 9-year-old said, "this is confusing." But still kept asking questions…I love the concept of time travel and would really love to read more!
I am sooo excited you are coming to Canada, and I can't wait to meet you. Your books are a treasure to me (i only have one other author that holds that distinction:). I am proud to say I have been madly in love with Jamie since the first time I read his words in the Outlander. Your books have been a real bonding experience for all the woman in my family and I very excited to have an autographed book. I will be even more excited when book 8 comes out:)

Hmmmmm……I'm curious, was this posted with Diana's consent? This posting has shown up on several other writers blogs this week with small changes to entice the prospective audience. Just making sure someone didn't hack into her blog. Maybe it's a publishing company thing?
I started the Outlander series while I was recovering from surgery. I just started Drums of Autumn, and like the first 3 books – can't put it down! Thank you for sharing your talent!

As is apparent from my choice of blogger name, time travel is a topic I love to explore. Look forward to reading Darby's new book and will seek a copy of the first book as well! Have always enjoyed Diana's reading recommendations while waiting for her next book.
I love a good time travel. Diana's, of course, are my fave (read them so many times the covers are falling off and..oops, think I lost outlander to a friend who WON'T give it back!!). Will now be on the hunt for Darby's new book…
