ECHO is out–and the party’s at the BILTMORE!

Very exciting!

I’ll be back later with observations on Game Day [g], but wanted to let y’all know right away that the launch party for the book is tonight _at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel_, not at the Poisoned Pen bookstore. (The Pen is organizing the event and selling books, but they can’t possibly cram hundreds of people into the bookstore.)

Rosana, my webmistress, sent out an email this morning to the website subscribers, welcoming them to the party, but mistakenly ended it with “…at the Poisoned Pen.” I’m sure she’ll be sending out a quick PS shortly [g], but wanted to put in an early word here, since I don’t know when she’ll get my email about it.

Hope to see many of you in person, tonight and on the road–and I hope ALL of you will enjoy the new book! Thanks for buying it. [smile]

  1. If I could hop on a plane from Canada right now I would!! But I'll have to settle for my local Chapters instead, and a quiet corner in my house later to dive into Echo!!!!! Have a WONDERFUL time, and I'll see you at your signing in Calgary at Wordfest! WOOT!

  2. I can't wait to read it!

  3. Unfortunately (for me), you won't be coming here (Ireland) and though I'll be in New York next month my timing/location Stateside is all wrong. But first things first when I get off the plane in NYC: find bookshop, buy Echo. Can't wait:)

  4. Already can't put it down…thank you for this gift!

  5. Diana,

If you want to reach a wide audience with this information right away, you may want to add it as a status on your Facebook page. All of the people who have signed up to be fans will immediately see the message in their news feed.

I came very close to buying a plane ticket from Boston to meet you tonight, but just couldn't swing it this time, though some friends of mine will be there. I do hope to meet you some day.

Congratulations on the release of the book!

    Thanks,
    Nicole Z

  6. Congratulations! My copy is sitting on the dining room table, though I have only been able to read the first couple of pages, since a little someone has refused to nap (today of *all* days!)

I am keeping my fingers crossed to see you tomorrow night at the Tattered Cover in Denver!

  7. Somehow the bookstore in my city put Echo in the Bone out on Sept. 21. I go my hands on it at noon and I'm reading and loving it. Thank you so much!

  16. Is it weird that I'm nervous to read it?! I'm dealing with the sick feeling that the series may end! I don't know if I can handle that! LOL! But then again it is an addiction that needs to be fed! Going to get mine tonight! Congrats on the release date! Woot!

  17. ooooo! It's so hard to wait to buy this, but I'm sticking to my original plan. Can't wait to start reading in a few weeks!!! Congratulations on the release and have a wonderful party!

  19. Oh my, thank you so much for all the hard Mrs. Gabaldon. I can not tell you how much I love the series. I honestly went to the bookstore today just for the book, lol. I can't wait to get finished reading the others (for the sixth time at least) so that I can be up to date to read this one. Thanks again.

  20. Hey enjoy the party! You deserve it!! I picked up my copy of Echo this morning in Mountain View, CA, and I look forward to seeing you there in a couple of weeks. Thank you again for writing so well and for traveling so much to meet and greet!
