  1. Wahooooooooo You are coming to Victoria which means your VancouverIsland fan base does not have to pay BC FERRIES TONNES of money to go see their fave author! Can’t wait to meet you!

  2. Sad to see there won’t be any stops in Eastern Canada :(

  3. Sooo happy u will be in Calgary ! Thank you !!

  4. London will welcome you BACK! !!!!

  5. Hi Diana,
I’ve just started reading the series again and am wondering if there are plans for a 20th anniversary copy of any of your books other than Outlander. I would love to add them to my collection.
    Please let me know,
    Kim

  6. What about Montréal? Please come and see us! Thank you.

  7. Just wondering if you know when the book will be translated to french ?

    • Dear Nancy–

I don’t, but it usually seems to take about a year for the foreign translations. The French publishers (now there are two, in France and in Quebec) usually release my books in two separate volumes, with different publication dates. Hope you’ll enjoy them–I hear the French translations are very good!

      –Diana

  8. Hi Diana. I hope you come to Eastern Canada some time. Nova Scotia (my home), PEI (where I live now) or New Brunswick (close enough for me to travel to)!

  9. So disapointed to not see you in Winnipeg this time around. Maybe more dates can be added later? :) But I understand that it must be a rough time on the road for so long. Hope you have some great days off and just want to thank you for this wonderful world of Outlander and for all your hard work! Hugs to you.

  10. Darn! Wish I hadn’t used my flex day already for this quarter. Hmm, wonder if I should beg for some training at head office I Calgary that week?….

  11. I hope you’ll come back to Montreal… I started reading your books recently since my mom is one of your biggest fan and I absolutely adore them. I’m actually moving to Scotland next year so I hope I’ll see you before I leave if you ever come for the French translation! Have a great trip while you’re in Canada!

  12. When are you coming to Edmonton?
I have read Written In My Own Heart’s Blood. Loved it, love them all.
When is the next book one coming out?
    thanks

  13. I am very disappointed. have read the first 7 books in series twice am reading the eight now. I have been wanting to meet you since the first book. But your stop in Calgary in impossible for many readers. unless you pay up to 100 dollars for membership you can’t go. why was it not in Chapters? we have a number of them and we have had a number of authors there to sign. Sorryu will not get to go.

    • Dear Pamela–

Are you sure that you need a Costco membership for the book-signing? You might call and check, ‘cuz that sounds very odd to me.

      –Diana

  14. Have a wonderful Canadian tour – I just wish you were coming to Halifax! You should think about visiting Atlantic Canada at some point – the scenery is beautiful and there are lots & lots of Outlander fans! Just don’t come in the winter!

  15. Diana,

I am so happy that I can see you in Barrie ON, I hope am not a babbling fool and actually make sense.

    Thank you

  16. Hello Diana,

I just wanted to say thanks again for your wonderful books! I also wish to say thanks for coming to Ottawa for your book signing for MOBY last night, it was my first time going to such an event and was so much fun! Listening to your stories about how you came to be a novelist was such a delight!
I very much love your sence of humor!!

    Thanks again!

Blessings to you and yours as you travel the world for your book tour!!

    Cheers!!

    Jacklyn : )

  17. Just read last book. Wonderful discussed with niece cannot wait for next book, alas it will be a while.

  18. ‘Way back in 1997 I traveled with you to Iceland and thence to Scotland with some so-called “Duchess” and her crowd of writers. It was a pleasure to meet you and chat a bit when we strolled among the stones at Clava Cairnes. It was there I tucked some of the North Carolina pebbles I’d brought with me as a homage to stones everywhere.

By the way, I wrote my late-in-life master’s thesis about a real Scotswoman, Janet Schaw, who traveled through the West Indies in the 1770′s and up to revolutionary North Carolina.. all the while complaining her disapproval of those upstart Americans rebelling against the king. I’d love to have you read about her.

    • Hi, Tony!

I wasn’t in Iceland, but I do recall the Scottish part of that trip, yes. I’ve actually read Janet Schaw’s memoir–fascinating stuff. [g]

  19. They certainly left NOTHING to the imagination in the first showing this evening. Good grief, why don’t I remember all the _ _ _? I better go back and start rereading! I actully fast forwarded thru those scenes!
Yes, I know I’m weird, but the rest of it was really well done…lots of graphic scenes coming I see…I can squint my eyes. I remember speed reading thru some of them. Lordy Lou, the scenery is spectacular.

    Best,

    Joan

  20. Hi! I was wondering if you have any information about the French translation of moby? Do you know when it’ll be released in France or Quebec? Can’t wait to read it!
