I finally got home and found my copy waiting. It's beautiful! I'm not a huge graphic novel fan, but I'm very much enjoying this.

Congrats! Just saw my friend's copy of The Exile and wanted to steal it. Morality won out, and I'm going to wait for my own to arrive.

I pre-ordered mine from Amazon back in January and had a countdown on my computer awaiting the arrival! Only complaint: finished reading it too fast! Of course, there will be many re-reads..

Honestly, it took me a while to warm up to the GN genre. But after hearing you speak last night in Pasadena, I understood the essence of the book as well as the genre. I can say now that I enjoy the entertainment these pages bring out.
I toast (with my cup of coffee) to a well deserved #1!

Through a supreme effort of will, I managed to stretch the actual reading of my copy out for four days. (Gotta savor it, after all.)

Now I just thumb through it and think to myself how lovely the pictures are.
