As I’ve said, I’m trying not to travel much this year, in hopes of finishing Book Ten sooner, rather than later.
Still, there are two events that I’ve done every year for… well, many years. <g> The Northern Arizona Celtic Historical Society (NACHS) Highland Tea will be held on April 11, and the Surrey International Writers’ Conference will return in October of this year.

Zoom may work on many tablets (such as iPads), or smartphones that run Android or iOS. To truly enjoy a webinar, though, a computer with larger screen and robust internet connection usually works better.
Be sure to log in to the event about ten minutes early to ensure your connection is working.

About Mountain Standard Time (MST) in Arizona
When travelling to Arizona or joining in on an online event from anywhere outside of the state, it is important to understand that Flagstaff is always on Mountain Standard Time (MST). This is because most of Arizona does not use Daylight Savings Time, including the major cities. This is different from most other states in the U.S.A. Why is this important?
In early March, 2026, most states in the U.S. will go on Daylight Savings Time and set their clocks back one hour, but Arizona will not. So Mountain Standard Time (MST) may throw you off an hour if you live in an area with Daylight Savings Time and are attending the virtual Zoom event for Diana’s talk.
Converting Flagstaff Time To Your Time Zone
The Time and Date World Clock Converter online is a great website to convert a date and time by location. Click on the link below to determine the Highland Tea’s time (MST) in your time zone outside of Arizona (which opens in a new tab or window on your browser):
