Just want to say I Have Loved all of your books and the shows as well looking forward to the Last season now and seeing it come to life .
The Faith and Rev Raymond mystery is really intriguing I Find it so fascinating did he take the baby is that what he was asking Claire forgiveness for ? Who is he truly? I really do hope you write books about him.

It’s likely that she crafted these ideas years ago, started writing but also collaborated with the show writer. They will be separate, but with overlapping themes and storylines. It’s less about originality and more about taking their own creative liberties in each medium. Keep in mind, it can take years to write books like these – especially if their attention gets pulled to other ideas that get sparked. There are so many more intricate details for authors to spell out. Show production is a bit more linear to my understanding (after writing is completed), with different factors being woven together for production and vastly more people involved. But they have strict contracts and deadlines to meet so they don’t lose people to other projects. Thats why there’s been 9 seasons of content in 12 years (8 outlander, 1 BomB) versus the many many years she’s been writing.

It is confusing. You say you started writing years ago , but yet we have a full season of what I thought was original content in this prequel now on starz. But you actually wrote script for episodes , nine and ten. I thought this prequel was original , except of course , for some of the story that has been borrowed from your works. So I find it very confusing as to who holds copyright over what. Your book , your prequel is going to have to be very different from what they’ve done on a film or you’re copying their material and you don’t hold copyright. So 4 of you are in a reader, it’s very confusing who has created what. I’m just trying to figure out who is related to whom. And it’s so discouraging how rape was used over and over again in scotland and england in this time , frame. I also find it discouraging that clara’s parents have gone back in time with the stones and that seems to be a copy of what you did , so hold copyright on there. Seems like you all are borrowing from each other. And now it is muddled. Your books were terrific and they were original, and it was wonderful that they wanted to take them and put them into a visual format which has greatly added to the story.Because it brings these characters even more to life. But it is very confusing and strange. I’m watching blood of my blood while I wait for the last season of outlander. I think they’re doing a beautiful job filming.It and writing it , but it’s hard to know what is borrowed and what is original. I think it’s strange that you release your content online.But maybe it’s to prove that you wrote it.So someone can’t steal it later , and say it was their idea. I read the first books years ago before it ever came out on starz. I’m in episode 2 now of blood of my blood.So let’s see what happens with the parents, but I was disappointed to see they both got sucked into the stones and went back.I guess to the same time as each other and as your books. Didn’?\nT seem to original to me. Seemed lazy. I’m eager to see how this ellen character is developed in the ten episodes as a very strong woman. And see this other love story with the parents. Brian fraser actor certainly is handsome. But I don’t understand why he tells everyone.He’s the b****** child. Would have thought they would like to keep that quiet . Who is the mother. Well, I have been sucked in to the first episode.And now the second , and now i’m going into the third and I will be binge watching all ten now over christmas.
