Hi, Dawn,

Diana has said multiple times that the two tv series are *adaptations* of her books. They are separate and do not affect her new books or short stories she is working on. So no worries there.

As to reading Book Ten, A BLESSING FOR A WARRIOR GOING OUT, as a Christmas present, it won't be this year (2025). When Diana and her publishers announce a publication date for BLESSING, the news will be posted here and on Diana's official Facebook page.

Yes, writing and publishing books can be demanding, but Diana is a pro and loves doing it. :-)

Thanks,

Loretta

Just a comment. I see you stretching in so many different directions which may not be healthy for you. I have some knowledge of the publishing field and it can be very demanding
. I don't read your excepts because I want to be surprised. But I have to say, I would rather see book 10 before season 8 or ongoing BOMB because I think they will still tie into your imagination and if Lord John follows, all the series will glow away GOTS any day. I know you don't know but would love to have the last book to read as a Christmas present. God bless you!

I'm at a major crossroads in my life. Do I continue in the bleak blackness that is corporate America. Sell my soul and life to make 75k a year. Do I do whatever while I go back to school AGAIN. Do I take a risk in myself?
Seeing that you didn't start changing the world until hit 35. The age I am now. It's liberating.
Your books have been my safe haven. When the world is rough and the voice in my head won't be kind I put on my headphones and immerse myself in your words.
Thank you. Thank you for taking a chance on yourself so I could one day find calm. Thank you for the words and keeping up the fight.
You are a gift.

I don't think I need to express my yearning for book 10 where so many have voiced their need as well.

I can however tell you that at age 76 I can't begin to put into words how much I've enjoyed your books. I am of Scottish descent. My ancestors came over in the early 1700's and strangely enough they came through Philadelphia making their way south until settling in the mountains of North Carolina. They also fought in the Continental Army. Reading about all the hardships of the time is so insightful and gives me a larger window into their past lives. Thank you so much for that.

I have just started on Book 9 and trying to savor each and every page. To my surprise today I read about your book A Leaf on the Wind of All Hallows. I didn't realize that you have others that I can read while waiting for A Blessing For A Warrior Going Out. My problem is I can't find a list of others you have written and what order they should be read in. Can someone direct me to that information please?

With much appreciation for this treasure you have given us. I wish you many more years of good health and curiosity,

Good Day

I have completely enjoyed your Highlander books. I thought Echo's was a bit dry, but for the most part, it was enlightening.

Every time a new book came out, I went back to the beginning and reread all of them for a refresher.
Its funny how you miss little details and after book 8, I was fully versed in books 1-6..........lol.

I hate to see the story line end, but Claire and Jamie are much older than I am at this point in time.

So here we come to book 10, I might not read 1-6 again, I might start with 8 and 9 for refreshers going to 10.
I hate to see the story line end, but Claire and Jamie are much older than I am at this point in time.

I got the pleasure of meeting you in Dallas and your talk was a delight and I found you to be a very down to earth, funny person.

Thank you for your writing and I wish you a blessed day.

Dear Diana,

We met in Asheville, NC at a book signing. I believe it was Echo. I also think I was one of the first people to discover your books. I usually read all of them again before the next book comes out. I, too, am 71 this year. As a previous commenter had said she rediscovered her science side, I also have rekindled my science side. I loved the picture of the snake poop and will try to remember to use urates next time I play scrabble. I think what I like best about your books is the comparisons that can be made between the medical field past and present. Your writing is very beautiful and poetic. Sometimes I must read a sentence over and over again for the pure joy it brings me. I wish you the best and hope to run into you again someday.

Yours,
Catherine

PS. My first major was Marine Biology, too! I ended up a CPA. I hated it and ended up selling books for 16 years! I believe no education or experience is wasted. I hate AI, too!

Hi! I have read many books, but have never written one, so I have no idea how long it takes. I imagine every author is different. I just wanted to say I love these books and I am very grateful that you share excerpts with us, I find that VERY generous!

Sincerely,

Rose Marie,
I love your purity! You are right, after I watched the series I no longer can conjure up what everyone looked like in my mind. I will say that the series is just beautiful and pays as close attention to detail as our beloved Diana. :)
