In addition, you speak of the great Battle of Quebec on the Plains of Abraham. Note first that Montcalm&#039;s troops consisted of 4 colonial regiments which had a strength the size of a company, about 600 men against 4,500 English soldiers. That Wolfe was recognized by his contemporaries as a lucky fool and you have to be a fool to land 4,500 men with 4,500 French soldiers on his right and 4,500 others on his left. Amherst the cunning turned the situation around. He was known for his duplicity. We had to check if we still had our hand after signing an agreement with him.]]></description>
