I always try to come up with surprise menus for my wife . It is always a delight to deliver her something new and unexpected. At the moment ‘tho I am preparing our New Year’s Eve feast. We will begin with boiled lobster and some chardonnay, followed by grilled T-bones, mushrooms, onions, baked yams and Malbec wine. I had intended baked lamb shanks for our New Years dinner but she may be about to go out the province on a mission of help to a friend and the time of return is again uncertain.
