I happened to see part of that interview and I loved Diana’s comment, “I must say you have one fine ass” and it’s very true. He absolutely does have a very fine ass, (along with the rest of him).

Season 8 will be the last in the Sony/Starz Outlander TV series, a done deal. They’re already working on the Blood of My Blood tv series about Jamie’s parents.

He did not necessarily fight at Culloden. He might have been taken in a later raid in the Highlands. When Lord John couldn’t get Jamie to tell him about the gold, he tried to get an answer by threatening to get to his family at Lallybroch, including Jenny’s three older children.

I’ve read the books & listened to the audible over & over so many times & loved the story. Now I know I will love book 10 as well. I can’t believe the series is ending without finishing the story but “thank you” for giving us this gift. I have to mention with your book I would never have gotten my 1st celebrity crush (I’m 77), on Jamie!!! I actually paid to go see see him in person & wasn’t disappointed. Ugh!! Reading the last few lines of this excerpt, and then realizing that was it! The end of the excerpt! Made me gasp and sigh as it felt as though my expectations for this conversation between father and son were whipped from under my feet! SO looking forward to book 10!

You are by far my favorite writer. You truly have a gift for making your characters come alive in a compelling, endearing way. I especially love this excerpt. Jamie is revealing more of his character to William every day. He loves the father who raised him, yet he admires this man who unflinchingly puts his life on the line for others. What an incredible moment.
