Diana’s OUTLANDER series of novels focus on the relationship between Jamie and Claire. Lord John is not the central character in those books.

I read Outlander in 2005. It was the first book I ever read twice. At 86 I have now read the entire series at least twice, and listened to them 3 1/2 times. I am very anxious for book 10 needless to say. The Scottish Prisoner should be included in the series, I have read that 3 times. Just keep writing, I have seen a better author with so much imagination and ability to make history come alive. Thank you for working so hard to entertain us. With blessed regards joan

Dear Dr Gabaldon, please forgive a nit-pick from a serious fan of your work. “Rachel was feeling peely-wally”. I wonder if “peely-wally” is a bit late for your setting? The Scotsman https://www.scotsman.com/whats-on/arts-and-entertainment/word-of-the-day-peely-wally-1605231 describes it as a mid-nineteenth century term. All best, Geoff Gillham
