I watched the series on STARS and became an instant fan. I have since purchased the complete audio series and was reminded in Season 1 of the dark stranger who looked up at Claire in the window brushing her hair. If it won't give anything away, who was he? More questions to follow as learning more thru the books. THANK YOU!

I love, love, love your books. A librarian suggested them in audio form to me. But the day I read some from a book I knew I had to read the rest-your sentence formation is so beautiful. Your use of language and information so Smart. I am in awe and full of appreciation for you and glad you are interested in so many of the things I am. And your characters are so real.
I will comment, that the last book (Bees) felt like it got yanked out of your hands by a frustrated publisher before it’s time: repeated bits, quickly pulled together snippets, not as richly flowing as the amazing volume of previous work has been. My empathies for whatever caused it.

I wanted to Thank you so much. I was watching the Documentary on Witches and Witch Trials when Gaillis Duncans name came up I was astounded. I started reading your books because of that. I love your writing style, before i know i turned a page im 50 deep. Currently reading Go tell the Bees That I am Gone, and I want to let you know how greatful I am for your effort and research that make the story historically accurate and interesting, even if loosely referenced and acknowledged.

Please Look at Mercer Museum in 84 S Pine St, Doylestown, PA 18901 not far from Philadelphia,PA. There are 1000s of items referenced in Outlander in this huge Castle structure. There is also a Historical Research Library that you have to be Certified to enter. The stairwell has dog paw prints in the cement and the Dog is Rollo. Its Rollos Stairwell.

I have so much gratitude for you, the artist. Thank you for your writing and your dedication, and for sharing with all of us. Since discovering the books (and TV show!) a few years ago, your work has taken up so much space in my mind. Rereading the books always leads to more questions. To have discovered your work before the answers are all available is a true gift. That's also assuming that all questions will be answered... and one just should not assume.

Diana --
Thank you for the "More on shapes" piece. I thought that I was the only one in the world who writes without an outline, but my books come together more or less as you have described. I'm a little less lonely now.
Please keep up the good work.

I've always loved the variety of shapes in the series. It keeps the story arcs fresh and intriguing. Otherwise - say, nine books, all in the first person, linear...it's just a version of The Perils of Pauline and the reader can become jaded. You create a more challenging reading experience to engage the reader!
