The portion above is reminiscent of one of the previous books, where Jamie had a muscle spasm while following his snare route after jumping off a cliff.
Dear Diana,
I recently read something about people who were fans of Outlander who'd never been fans of such before. I'm one of them! Totally addicted. Busy with several family businesses and a large extended family, my only screen time with rom-com's on Netflix while ironing (the kind you can easily leave and come back to without missing anything). Then I ran out of them and found Outlander. Then, I stopped ironing . . . Totally addicted! I watched many episodes of seasons 1 and 2 multiple times. Oh, what I went through to watch Season 3 on W Network in Canada. So many other shows are repeated multiple times but in Nova Scotia it comes on Sunday at 10pm then repeated a few hours later. A time when sometimes the responsible mother in me is helping a son complete his (late) homework or trying to get him to bed. (So I didn't see the battle of Culloden) Another time the power went out half way through so I didn't see Willie conceived. Another time I stayed up til 3am because I confused the start time (its advertised as ET and we are AT). Then Oak Island Season 5 started - it starts at 11pm before Outlander finishes at 11.15. I had to choose between Outlander and seeing our employees and trucks involved in the hunt for Oak Island's treasure. Oh my. I would try to find snippets on line after . . . but many of the official Starz ones are blocked in Canada and W doesn't show near so many! (I don't really use social media).
However, I am still alive!!
Now season 3 is over - to fuel my addiction - I have started on the books and I just love reading them, I love that I can visualize the characters from watching the show. I enjoy the humour in them and I feel that my hubby and I love each other as Claire and Jamie do.
In short: Thankyou. I love Outlander!
Best Wishes for 2018.

Dear Rita--

No, I'm afraid I can't come to Fergus this year; it's going to be a very intense year, working on BEES, and I really can't go anywhere that I'm not already committed to going.

    Best,
