Dear Starr--

I don't set the itinerary for book tours; this is the province of the publisher(s), who pick cities in consultation with their sales force. I'm kind of a limited resource [g] and can't be everywhere that people read my books, alas.

Hi Diana,
I'm an avid fan of your writing and like everyone I anxiously await your next book. In looking at your schedule for next year I see only a two appearances in the East with no appearances in the Midwest. A former Cheesehead (Wisconsin) and now in Central New York (Syracuse), it's disappointing that your appearances are mostly on the West Coast and in only two eastern cities. What about Milwaukee, Chicago, Buffalo, Syracuse, or any other city? New York is a huge state that should never be thought of in the strict confines of 'The City'. Plus, the Midwest would also love to see you.

Just some food for thought since it's disconcerting that once again the rest of us Easterners are lost in the shadow of NYC & Philly while the Midwest is ignored completely.

A fan.
