I just finished A Leaf on the Wind of All hallows. I did enjoy this short story tying up the loose end of his father's disappearance. What has left me frustrated, is that I can't figure out who the men were that send his father through the stones and how they knew he missed his mark of return. I read the series twice and plan to read them again before the 8th book, but I don't think I can wait that long! Please tell me who they are!

Dear DABC--

It's not a scene in ECHO--there's just the implication in ECHO--to wit, you know that Roger and his ancestor Buck have gone back through the stones in search of Jeremiah MacKenzie. They found one. [g]
