This will be one of only two appearances with Hoang Nguyen, the illustrator of THE EXILE! (He came out to Scottsdale for the launch party for the book, and we had a wonderful time, talking about the art, the development of the book, etc. Lovely guy, marvelous artist!)

It's great! Just like it was so great to see in D.C. Saturday. I was one of the three awestruck people you stopped to chat with in the Border's tent where we had picked up our copies of The Exile to buy. Sorry we were so tongue-tied; I wanted to ask to take a picture with you, but didn't want to be obnoxious. Anyway, I finished the book, and I loved it. I have a feeling it was setting us up for some interesting revelations in future books. Can't wait.
