I just can't wait to use the expression "nerd herd". I think its wonderful! Given that I work at a University, in a College of Engineering, I don't think it will be too long! In any case, that particular line gave me an out loud laugh at work – in the halls where the nerd herds roam…

I'd intended to read a couple of brief excerpts, but it was a shorter talk than I'd expected--they only allowed 45 minutes (rather than an hour), so that I'd have time to sign everyone's books (and I just barely made it through the line in time, so they were probably right).

My mom and I were just so tickled that you were blushing!! Too funny! Loved your talk, but was so sad there were no readings. My mom and I (and sister, best friend, aunt, grandma, all of whom I got to read everything Outlander!) are REALLY hoping there are some excerpts soon!! Thanks again for taking the time to meet with everyone, as always I really enjoyed having my book signed and getting to say Hello!

I SO wish I had been there, at 59 yrs old I STILL love the DC crowd and I've got my own outfits =). I'm planning on going to DragonCon next year. My daughter wants me to share a room with her and another friend. It'll be my first in years. I hope Hope HOPE you will be there. Dying to meet you!

It was so great meeting you at the book fair.. and I was so excited to hear you speak. You are amazing!

My daughter and I were outside after you spoke, in line to purchase the "Outlander Muscial" CD (amazing by the way!!), the guy in the Kilt was smoking a cig and bent over to put it out.. my 16 year old got her first look.. he wasn't wearing anything under it hahaha!!
