I just finished reading Douglass’s Women–wow, what a heartbreaking story. Very well written. Wouldn’t be my pick for Valentine’s Day though, but a good story nonetheless. Thanks for the recommendation. I am left wondering how much is “historical” and how much is “fiction.”

It never hurts to ask, right? Thanks for the good wishes. I have a POD publisher right now, but am very close to obtaining an agent (finally!), and hopefully, I'll land a traditional publisher soon after. It's been a long eight years...

As for my limited editions, yes, they are beautiful: real leather outside, pretty paper inside, hand-designed signing page. It was my answer to a hardcover. As a newbie, I knew the less expensive paperbacks would sell better, but the LE's have their market, too.

i found this in a book store a while back and it is very good. It added dimension to a person I had only ever thought of as a “historical character”. Even though it’s fiction it’s based on facts of his life and is very believable.
